Into the MTC

Hi, Kate’s mom Jenny here. I’ll be updating Sister Mason’s blog while she’s gone. Here’s some pictures of our whirlwind trip to Provo and dropping her at the MTC.

Sister Mason met her companion Sister Gertsch online before they left, so we decided to meet up with her family for dinner in Salt Lake and see the Christmas lights at Temple Square the night before they entered the MTC. It was such a blessing for them to meet each other beforehand. I think it eased the stress of the next day just a little bit. We LOVED Sister Gertsch and her family!

The girls even found the Hungarian lantern. It says “love” in Hungarian.

Before the MTC drop off we did the traditional family goodbyes and last photos at the Provo temple.

And off she went!
